Tax accountant and CPA correspondence and treatment
Accountants are notoriously bad at communication. The stereotypical picture of old men sitting in little white rooms talking to their computers all day is not that far from the truth, even today.
Frankly, its difficult to find someone who can do the numbers and forms that is also capable of the kind of contact that you deserve as a client. Notice how I said that. You deserve to be treated the way your accountant would want to be treated. If your accountant is not capable of that, they should either get out of the business, or get a job that doesn’t have this requirement. And you should have an accountant who does.
Financial and tax accounting in Chicago is a difficult trade. Whether a CPA or a public accountant, they must be ready, willing, and able to provide the contact and service required by you, the client. As a paying customer, you should expect nothing less. You’re worth it.
