Business Accounting Help Chicago Illinois

Generally when clients are looking for a solution, they come to us with several different types of problems.

  1. The accounting work hasn’t been done for a period of time. That period can vary from half a year to several.
  2.

  3. Sales taxes have been neglected. Generally at this point the state is either looking for the returns and are threatening action from audit to the close of the business.
  4.

  5. Payroll taxes have not been filed. If this has been done then the compliance officers of the various taxation agencies are going to need to be satisfied.
  6.

  7. Payroll tax deposits have not been paid. When these deposits are not paid timely penalties and interest will multiply the amount of the debt quickly. If you cannot pay these amounts, then there are several options available.
  8.

  9. Income taxes have been neglected. Certainly they will need to be filed. Any amounts due will need to be handled.
  10.

  11. Tax planning has not been completed. If the accountant has not gone through the process of advising a client as to their options, then the financial future of the entity is in question.

Most business owners do not come from an accounting background. Accounting is something that cannot be neglected. Like a jealous spouse, the longer it remains neglected, the more difficult the situation becomes.
