Applications for the final round of PPP lending will be accepted until Monday, May 31st. The Government is reporting that about $3B is left out of the $800B program. Over the course of the program the SBA has approved 11B loans.
There are only a few community and minority financial institutions that are still participating lenders. Many have stopped accepting applications to give themselves time to process the ones already in house. A list of lenders still participating can be found at the following web address.

It is important to make sure that the information provided on the application is true and verifiable. By definition, you are attesting to that fact when applying for the loan.

We celebrate Memorial Day this coming Monday. Most will celebrate with a cookout, a couple of drinks, and maybe some fireworks for the kids. It’s the day we set aside to remember the brave Americans who never made it home.

Soldiers, Seamen, and Airmen have a difficult life. They’re recruited at a young age and forced to do the unthinkable for the ungrateful in the ugliest parts of our planet. They serve their time, and hopefully get out in one piece.
But do any of them actually come out whole?
Whether you leave an arm, a leg, or part of your mind on a battlefield, no one is ever the same. They leave the jungles of Southeast Asia or the mountains of Afghanistan to come home, and what do they find?
A country so divided, they wonder what they were fighting for in the first place.
Then thirty or forty years after they get home, our Great Land of Liberty does the ultimate about face. Think about it.
My Grandfather’s generation fought World War II, now Germany and Japan are our greatest allies and trading partners. My Father’s generation fought Viet Nam, and guest what. They are now our allies and trading partners.
My generation fought the war on drugs. Thirty years later it’s all being legalized. If I’m still alive thirty years from now, the same thing will probably happen with Iraq and Afghanistan.
This weekend, spend some time thinking about what our heroes have been through and continue to deal with. The sacrifices they made so that you can live as you do are immeasurable.
Visit the graves of our dearly departed. Let any veteran you know realize how much you are indebted to them for their service. Support veterans in any way possible. I’ve always put them first on my hiring lists.
But above all, love and respect our nation.
