Why is the Valuation of a Business Necessary in Chicago Illinois?
A formal Business Valuation is a necessary step in providing the due diligence necessary to complete a bona fide transaction with a blood relative.
Without a valuation and the proper due diligence the transaction can be unraveled in an audit. If this occurs there could be substantial estate or income taxes imposed as well as penalties and interest.
