The Business Interruption Grant (BIG) Program in Illinois has passed out over $450M in BIG Grants to businesses like yours and are looking for more to help.
These are grants rather than loans. They don’t have to be repaid. They are certainly income taxable, so they aren’t completely free. In order to qualify, you must be able to show that you have suffered an economic injury in this pandemic.
How many of us haven’t?
Most of the grants awarded are about $20,000, and most of the applications are approved in two to three weeks. The application can be found at this web address.

It looks like they finally decided who’s going to be our new president. I’m just surprised they could actually find anyone working in government who could count in the first place.
Now that it’s over, where does that leave us?
Pretty much in the same place as before. With the Democratic majority in the house and the Republican majority in the senate, it means continued gridlock. Whether you’re happy or sad at the results, get over it. There isn’t much you can do about it in the first place.
One thing is for sure and for certain. It’s time to heal our nation, time to end the divide, time to come back together as one. Stop the violence, discord and confusion that arises from pride and arrogance. We are a people that come from many nations, speaking many different languages, but there is only one that counts.
It’s the language of reconciliation.
May we again become a country of united states, one where we speak the language of brotherhood and sisterhood rather than the continued discord that weakens our nation and halts our prosperity.
May we support and defend our liberties at any cost.
May those we have given the authority of leadership in our great nation have the wisdom to do that which is right rather than popular, whatever the cost.
May there be justice and peace in our land.
May we be thankful in prosperous times.
May we be strong of heart in difficult times, believing that better times are coming.
